Top-level promotions in Avison Young’s Investment Department – Bartłomiej Krzyżak and Marcin Purgal

Bartłomiej Krzyżak, who previously held the position of Senior Director, has been promoted to Co-Head of Investment Department. Bartłomiej is a renowned broker with ca. 18 years of experience in the commercial real estate market. He developed his career working at several advisory firms, including CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, and Savills. Since 2017, he has been with Avison Young, where he is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities, managing acquisition and disposal processes, coordinating due diligence, and conducting financial analyses. Bartłomiej has extensive market knowledge and a strong track record of completed transactions across all sectors. His most recent deal – representing the buyer in the acquisition of the Royal Wilanów office building in Warsaw – was the largest and only office transaction exceeding EUR 100 million in Q1 2026.

Marcin Purgal, MRICS, previously Senior Director, now is taking the role of Co-Head of Investment Department. Marcin is a member of RICS and an experienced director active in commercial real estate markets in Poland and the CEE region for ca. 23 years already. He gained professional experience mostly at Savills as well as Knight Frank. Over the course of his career, Marcin has closed numerous significant transactions across all segments of the Polish commercial real estate market, primarily in the office and retail sectors. At Avison Young, he is responsible for investment advisory and coordination of sale and purchase processes carried out by the team. His responsibilities include also maintaining positive relationships with clients, acquiring new projects and managing transaction processes.
